From Toledo, Spain

Casas de Hualdo is an ambitious agricultural and livestock project that began in the late 1980s. It initiated a progressive transformation of the property, evolving into what is now Finca Hualdo, a mosaic of various crops and natural wealth covering nearly 4000 hectares of land in El Carpio de Tajo (Toledo), along the course of the Tagus River. Among its lands graze a breed of Manchega sheep, while crops such as pistachios, alfalfa, peas, and barley complement the view of the 685 hectares of olive groves.

Promoting biodiversity and managing its natural heritage are core values of the brand. Casas de Hualdo has made a firm commitment to clean energy by installing one of Spain's largest solar plants for photovoltaic solar pumping to irrigate its crops.

The mill, constructed in 2009, was recognized as the best oil mill in Spain by AEMO in 2012. Integrated within the olive grove, it ensures olives are milled within 6 hours from the time they are picked. Functional, modern, and equipped with advanced technology, the mill also features a system for recovering olive stones and reusing them as a clean and sustainable heating source in the facilities.

Coupage Olive Oil

While the various types of olive oil mentioned earlier are obtained from a single type of olive, this variety is achieved by blending different olive varieties during the milling or extraction phase.

An Extra Virgin Olive Oil Coupage widely accepted is the one formed by the picual and arbequina varieties since it represents the perfect combination, achieving a blend of flavors that would be impossible to obtain separately.
