Boquerones en vinagre are a classic Spanish tapa, especially popular in the summer. This fresh dish pairs perfectly with a cold beer, and it's even better if you have a sea view.

These boquerones are made traditionally with 100% natural ingredients, without preservatives or additives. Additionally, they contain Spanish extra virgin olive oil (EVOO), making them even more delicious.

Besides being a delicious dish, it is very healthy. Boquerones are rich in protein, low in fat, and, along with the EVOO, are high in omega-3 fatty acids.

 

How to eat Boquerones en Vinagre?

Just open it and you will have a delicious, easy and healthy Spanish tapa. Pair them with crusty bread or Spanish crackers like Picos Camperos for an authentic experience. We strongly recommend adding a sprinkle of fresh parsley and chopped garlic on top.

Five generations dedicated to the world of fish.

The history of their family begins with their great-great-grandparents, the great-grandparents of their father. The great-great-grandfather was a fisherman by trade, and the great-great-grandmother sold the freshly caught fish to the families in the village of Montgat. The great-grandfather was also a fisherman and, over time, bought an old car which he used to travel to nearby villages to sell the fish. He eventually supplied fish to the markets in Barcelona.

As demand for more fish grew, he also started buying fish from the markets in Tarragona. Their grandfather, heir to the family tradition, expanded the sourcing area along the entire Catalan coast and distributed fresh fish throughout the Iberian Peninsula.

With the help of new technologies, their father managed to obtain fish from across the Iberian Peninsula and distribute it to the main national markets. Taking advantage of the abundance of anchovies, in 1977, the NASSARI brand was registered, specializing in the production of high-quality pickled anchovies.

Currently, the Nassari company is dedicated to the artisanal production of its product, offering high gastronomic quality and distributing its products worldwide.
